Product Description:
Since the mid 1970's, glass insulators are no longer manufactured. They are collected in the field from collectors and suppliers and traded sold worldwide. They are antique glass objects some over 100 years old.
They have been visually inspected and sorted to be free of any visible defects including cracks, chips and irregularities. I sort them, clean and prepare them as Insulatorlights and Insulatorware. I use all UL parts and have the electrical socket and wiring assembled by a lighting company in Chico, CA.
Mission Statement:
My mission is to reuse and re-purpose common glass insulators, trafficlight lenses, and other common industrial objects. I transform these artifacts and relics into useful modern light fixtures and other useful products and objects d'art called Insulatorware & Insulatorlights.
